Yin & You is a 30 hour online Yoga Alliance Certified course


Welcome to Yin and You - a Discovery of the Whole Self. This is our 30 hour Whole Self Yoga teacher training course, approved by Yoga Alliance.

In this course and on the Whole Self on-demand platform, we've made it as easy as possible for you to watch the videos in this course at any time. Following many of these videos are simple quizzes to test your knowledge and make sure that you have absorbed the information in this course.

It's fun, it's educational and, after completion of the course, you will be able to teach Yin Yoga in your classes.

I can't wait to be guiding you into an introduction to yin yoga, sharing with you the philosophy and history of yin, the concepts of chi, meridians, chakras, koshas and more!

Alongside this, we'll be looking at the anatomical side of the practice, which is super important so that you can identify exactly what bones, muscles and tissue are being activated during yin yoga poses.

About Julie Montagu


I created Whole Self after seeing a need for more modern, energetic and uplifting self-care and yoga training that would address the needs of daily life.

I was a burnt out mom of 4, and every day was a repeat. I was taking care of everyone else and forgot who I was, what I wanted, and who I wanted to become. Once I started to incorporate self-care into my daily life, my true, authentic self was able to breathe. From this space, this is where I re-discovered not only who I was, but my passions came alive. I started to live for me.

I've taught over 4,250 hours of real life courses in yoga studios since my teaching career began over 12 years ago. I've headlined there Wanderlust festivals to over 8,000 people combined, written 4 best-selling wellbeing books, and I'm the presented of a very successful TV series. I want to share the knowledge of what I've learnt over the past 12 years with you.

Yoga, nutrition and self-care have been the foundations to my success and I want tot share all that I've learnt so that you too can live a life full of promise, strength and happiness.
